Raleigh to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska via Canada. Another trip of a lifetime. I've been on many long trips on my motorcycle: two cross country trips and numerous regional trips. I've ridden the entirety of Route 66, Blue Ridge Parkway, and ridden thru 45 of the lower 48 states. But even I will acknowledge this trip is different. At 80 days, it will be the longest trip I've embarked on. By going thru the Yukon and Alaska solo, it's the most remote and most hazardous trip that I've undertaken so far. Something to acknowledge but not something to dwell on. That's the best part of motorcycle trips, the physical and mental challenge of it mixed with the exploration of the open road. Not to mention all the time inside your own head to think and ruminate about your past, present and future. It truly is a form of wind therapy. Let's see what we'll find out there.
