After leaving Tammy's place, I head back west towards Cache Creek to Deadman Junction Ranch, a western town that was built and curated by a Canadian that loves the American old west. Apparently many of the buildings and items are historic originals. It was a hot day so pulling into this cowboy town in the simmering heat feels appropriate.

I arrived with a few other visitors and the owner greeted us and was more than happy to explain every building an item to us. There were a handful of films and TV shows that were filmed here over the years.

This place is kinda nutty and so is the owner. He's definitely proud of his collection and he's more than willing to let you know it and to correct you on everything else.

Definitely a cool place to stop and see but not really a historical museum. I stayed about half an hour and then got back on the road to Langley where I have an Airbnb for two nights before I meet up with Guy and Andrea again at their house in Coquitlam, just outside of Vancouver proper.
