Another 30 miles east and I reach Kamloops, a small city in eastern B.C. I get into town around 8:30 pm and stop at a grocery store to grab some dinner. By the time I come out at 9pm, the sky is dark. I'm now south enough that there is actually night time. I've spent close to three weeks up in the Yukon and Alaska that I was getting used to over 20hrs of daylight.

A quick overnight here in Kamloops at an Airbnb room and then I've decide to go back to Jasper and ride the Icefield Parkway. A month ago when I was here it was 33F/1C to 39F/3C. I didn't enjoy it at all and just wanted it to be over so I can get to my hotel. It's a month later and the temperature is hovering in the mid 70s/10sC. It'll be a long day but should be worth it to back track to this amazing road.
