Lake Louise is one of Canada's most famous and treasured nature destination. Know for its turquoise water and mountains, it's one of the most beautiful scenery in the world. As you can imagine, a place like this will be mobbed by tourists. I'm conflicted about going to places like these. I definitely want to see these beautiful locations myself but once I'm there and see all the tour buses and hundreds of people mobbing there, jockeying for position along the lake, taking their Instagram selfies and striking their TikTok poses, it makes me want to kick every single one of them into the damn lake.

There's also the Fairmount Chateau that is right on the lake. You can enjoy a night's stay at the Fairmount for the low price of $1,399 CAD per night. The day was rainy and cloudy. So the photos are a bit gray but you can see the turquoise water. Enjoy a few photos of Lake Louise!

Years ago, when i had the pleasure to visit the lake, the first thing i walked up to on a wee hike was a giant bear trap and two ranger type persons manhandling it... it was also my first in-person instruction on "what to do when you see a bear" in Canada 8) it is a wonderfully beautiful late, as Dirt Pony asked, i hope you dipped your toe in!
